The 5 Best Seat Covers for Subaru Foresters

Subaru’s are known for being sporty vehicles capable of taking on the pavement, or dirt.

And speaking of dirt, if you tend to get it on your seats. Covers may be a great idea!

They don’t cost too much, and can keep your interior looking like the day you first got your Forester.

So let’s take a look at the 5 best seat covers for Subaru Forester:

1. Gorla Premium Universal Fit Waterproof Car Seat Cover

If you like to get dirty and just want something that keeps you protected, it’s hard to compete with the overall value Gorla’s seat covers provide.

They provide lifetime warranties(unheard of in this category) and they’re a simple universal fit.

The comfortable fabric is made of neoprene, and that’s why it repels liquids so well.

Most people are able to install this cover within a minute. Visually, it’s not as aesthetic as most of the other options. But, that’s not what they’re going for at all. They wanted something affordable that you can count on and install easily.

The reviews and popularity of this product show they’ve reached that goal. We have “prettier” options below, but darn do we sure love the Gorla.

2. FH Group Sports Fabric Car Seat Covers Pair Set (Airbag Compatible), Gray/Black- Fit Most Car, Truck, SUV, or Van

FH Group offers a pair of seat covers at a great price.

What we love about these outside of them being very affordable(considering you get 2) is the color selection.

Car seat covers tend to have limited browns/blacks but that’s not true with FH. Go wild, you’ve got options here.

These aren’t waterproof like the Gorla of course, but they are machine washable. So if you get a stain it’s not a big deal, you’ll just have to do a little more work to get it out. Their “air mesh” padding offers a bit of comfort for your spine.

3. Black Panther 1 Pair Car Seat Covers, Luxury Car Seat Protectors, Universal Anti-Slip Driver Seat Cover with Backrest,Diamond Pattern (Black)

As you take a sip of your very expensive beverage in the presence of your compatriots, you anticipate the question that’s coming.

“What seat covers do you have?” And you, in full glory can spout with condescension..”these… are Black Panther’s!”

That’s what we would do, or pretend to do, in our imaginations.. if we had friends. WAIT. Ok got off track, but the Black Panther line of seat covers are specifically made to be a bit luxurious while offering a universal fit.

Plus they have a great brand name. The diamond stitch pattern gives you cushioning to sink into and they offer three color choices. They are more expensive than other options on this list, but not ridiculously so.

4. Copap 10pc Multi-Color Baja Saddle Blanket Car Seat Covers with 15” Steering Wheel Cover & Seat Belt Protectors Universal Seat Covers Full Set for Sedan, Car & Van

Is your inner child really a bohemian surfer? Did I hear a yes?

Well, we have an item targeted at your soul. The Baja Car Seat Set is 10 pieces of transformative glory to take you from plain Jane to.. Jane on the beach??

Something like that.

They have a good bit of padding as well, 4mm worth. And currently around 6 colors to choose from, but this varies with what they have in stock. So why are these so popular?

Well they’re a good deal for what you get. These aren’t waterproof, but your entire car will be covered in hypnotizing jubilance.

They have a compatibility guide pictured in their description, and yes these do work with Forester’s!

5. VIEWPETS Bench Car Seat Cover Protector - Waterproof, Heavy-Duty and Nonslip Pet Car Seat Cover for Dogs with Universal Size Fits for Cars, Trucks & SUVs

Do you have pets, little goblins, or an adult monster that tends to slobber?

Well, with this seat cover from Viewpets you can relegate them to the back seat and have confidence your car will break through the clouds without a scratch.

This is half seat cover half catch all liquid mat thing. The flaps hang down over the sides and front of this cover to go the extra mile.

As for installation? Easy peezy. You can probably see the headrest straps in the picture, but they also have hook anchors and elastic straps. If you want easy installation, great coverage, and a good price then definitely consider this!

What are ways you recommend keeping my interior clean?

A very neat thing we’ve come across recently are mini trash cans meant for cars. You hang them over your headrest and you’re good to go. They’re inexpensive and can help stop junk accumulating. A popular one is here.

And if your interior is particularly messy, there are portable vacuums that are either completely wireless or powered by your vehicle’s DC outlet. This is one that gets much praise. Alternatively, you can just wait until you get a car wash if the establishment has free vacuums.

Great! My interior is protected now, how about the exterior?

In this day and age, you may want to consider getting a car wax! We have a great article on it here.  Or you could consider getting a car cover for your Forester. Surprise surprise, we also have an article on that!

Hey there, thank you for stopping by and reading our article. Protecting your interior from stains can be an adventure in overwhelming choices and we hope we’ve narrowed down the field for you.

For us, you can probably tell we have a clear favoritism for the Gorla. But there are full sets in this guide for a great price as well, many are even machine washable.

If you end up getting something from this article, let us know how it works out! Good luck on your search.
